Buffalo

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! It is hard to believe that we have completed the first quarter of the school year. The schools held Parent Teacher Conferences this week and we will not have school on Friday.

Both schools have been very busy this school year and are doing great things to ensure the success of our students. Open Teaching Positions We are working extremely hard to fill our open teaching positions. The district will be represented at several education job fairs at colleges and universities in the region. We are sharing our story with teacher candidates and the support of our community is making an impact with teachers looking at joining our community and school.

Architects Share Plans for New School The plans for the new school are progressing. At the Regular Oct. 21 Board Meeting, Greg Tice, from SPT Architecture reviewed the plans. He also showed the Board a virtual model of the school. If you are interested, the district posted a video of the Board Meeting on our USD 105 YouTube page and the building presentation begins about 40 minutes into the video. Currently, SPT Architecture and McCown-Gordan Construction are working through the plans to ensure the school is built within the budget of the project with a goal of starting construction before the end of the calendar year.

Go Buffaloes!
