Dear Students and Parents,

I hope you have had an excellent Spring Break and are ready for the remainder of the school year.  We would like to share exciting news as you return to school in that construction on the new school is beginning in the next week.  This is an exciting time to be a Buffalo, but it will bring some changes and challenges to the Junior-Senior High Site.  Our great concern is the safety of our students and staff.  The construction site will have a fence and students must stay out of this area as it will be unsafe.  There will also be limitations to the site for parking.  If possible, we would ask that students limit themselves to one vehicle per family.  Attached is a top view of the site with an explanation of the construction area and where students are allowed to park.  Below is an explanation of the parking and transportation plans.  The remainder of operations for the school should be similar to what your students have experienced since moving to the modular campus.  I am sure the first week or two will be a learning experience for everyone and we will direct students to additional changes as we learn our new situation.

Our students and staff have shown a tremendous amount of resilience as we have navigated our situation.  Every situation is an opportunity for our students to learn how to handle obstacles and I truly believe our students have learned valuable skills that will help them in their future endeavors.

Thank you for your continued support as we move forward with the construction of the new school.

Overhead of Site:

Yellow: Construction Site - Students and staff are not allowed in this area.  It is a construction site and not safe.

Red: Staff Parking - This is the same area that staff has used for their parking since moving to the modular campus.

Blue: Transportation and Maintenance - This area is to be left open from parking for Transportation and Maintenance operations.

Green: Senior Parking - This area will be used for Seniors to park.

Purple: General Student Parking - The only change is if the conditions of the hill are not suitable due to construction activities or the weather.  Also, a purple line follows the track to the modular campus.   Students should go directly from the parking area to the track as there will be construction activities in between the school and the stadium that won’t allow student passage.

If all areas are full, students are allowed to park in the city streets as long as they follow applicable parking laws within the city.
