Deone Horinek, USD 105 Athletic Director, Teacher and Coach talked with the 7th grade Careers class about being a student/athlete at the Collegiate level, owning a Hay stacking business, hydro dipping guns, and coaching. The students heard about many different learning opportunities that are available to them in a rural area and an urban area.
Brooklyn Barker, owner and operator of Remote Admin, LLC met with the 7th grade Careers class discussing her role as a business consultant. She presented the class with lots of information on the many different aspects to her career and the importance of people skills.
Zach Larison, CEO of AZ Custom Remodeling, LLC, talked to the 7th grade Careers class about being an entrepreneur and the many qualities it takes to be a hard worker. He discussed the many different "soft skills" that are part of his daily routine along with customer service and satisfaction.
