Parents and Guardians,

Your student has begun working in Imagine Learning Virtual Portal. This is the platform we are utilizing for 7-9 English Language Arts as well as Geometry and Trigonometry. I have included multiple links below to help you become familiar with the program, answer any questions you might have, and to better allow you to help your student. Your students' overall grade will be recorded in PowerSchool, but more in-depth grade information and progress report for this platform can be tracked through the parent portal. There is information below on how to add a guardian account.

The teacher of record for your student's class is provided by Imagine Learning. Students are encouraged to reach out and communicate with their instructor through email and by scheduling meetings . There are also on demand tutors available to help students. There is information below on how to connect with the teacher as well as a tutor. As your student works through the program we provide a classroom facilitator to supervise and help students at school. The program is paced and your student may need to spend some extra time to stay on track. They will also need to spend extra time in the program if they have missed school and are behind. During the semester there is no permanent penalty for late assignments. The actual grade will begin to fall if the student does not stay on pace, but as long as they catch up at some point before the end of the semester they can still earn an A.

I have also included information on the guided notes the platform offers. In my opinion they will be a very valuable resource to help understand the content and to use as a study tool. I encourage the student to utilize them.
