Two Rawlins County Junior High Students recently received honors at the Western Kansas Scholastic Arts Competition and Exhibition. Mallory Horinek was awarded a "silver key" for her mixed media piece, "Bad Biker with a Heart of Gold" and Caitlin Romme was awarded an honorable mention for her mixed media piece, "Mystic Pizza." Their work will be on display at at the Stauth Memorial Museum in Montezuma, Kansas through the end of February.
