Physics Begins Another Exciting Year

Once again RCHS students start the study of the universe via Newtonian Physics. This quest begins with the excitement of understanding measurement through base and derived units, significant digits, precision, accuracy and dimensional analysis. After mastering these basic components, an amazing journey continues with the study of motion, both constant and accelerating in horizontal and vertical planes. Next forces and vector addition will be the focus of study. Later on these concepts will develop into Newton's Three Laws of Motion and The Law of Universal Gravitation.
