THREE - A - DAY SURVEY RESULTS
by Alice Hill
January 16, 2008
89 students and staff took the "Get a BUFF BOD with 3-A-Day" survey.
Based on these results we have started offering the Healthy Snack choices during morning break on M-W-F. The goal of this program is to help students and staff have better snack choices to minimize high calorie-low nutrient options in the school setting.
The items on offer at this time are apples & peanut butter, cheese sticks, peanuts, yogurt, milk, & granola bars. They are being served from a tray to minimize expense while we build funds for a vending machine that can be stocked with the healthy choice items.

We hope you will enjoy the healthy snack choices on M_W_F and help, through your purchases, to raise enough money to buy a school owned vending machine for these items. A percentage of the money raised from sales from the vending machine will go toward student organizations.
Thanks for your participation in this project and remember to make healthy food choices a life-long habit.
The grant for this program came to us through the BC/BS Healthy Habits for Life program.
